Whispers in the Code

In a world where AI thinks, who controls the thoughts?
thriller feature_film €7,000,000 118 minutes
Project Description
In near-future Berlin, brilliant but reclusive programmer Mia Reeves creates an AI system designed to detect and prevent cyberterrorism. When her system, codenamed ORACLE, begins identifying patterns suggesting an imminent attack on the European financial system, Mia discovers that her creation may have been compromised. As the boundaries between ORACLE's predictions and reality blur, Mia is forced to confront difficult questions about consciousness, control, and her own troubled past. With time running out and powerful interests converging around her work, she forms an unlikely alliance with Leon, a technophobic detective investigating a series of seemingly unrelated deaths linked to advanced technology.
Creative Vision
This techno-thriller will balance cerebral sci-fi concepts with very human stakes. Visually, we'll create a distinctive neo-noir aesthetic for Berlin, emphasizing blues and greens in the cinematography. The film will visualize digital concepts through subtle, elegant VFX rather than clichéd 'floating code' sequences. Sound design will be crucial, with ORACLE's voice evolving subtly throughout the film. We'll avoid binary 'technology bad/good' simplifications in favor of nuanced ethical questions.
